Look out Earth, the slime’s comin’ home!

I decided I really didn’t particular like my bank account containing actual money, so I went and spent a chunk of it on some airplane tickets. These airplanes are known for travelling vaguely over the Pacific at times, and may indeed be landing in Melbourne.

😄

To be less annoyingly vague, I’ll be flying out of cold, windy SFO on Friday the 9th of November, and landing in sunny, beautiful Cairns on Sunday the 11th. There I’m planning on doing a five-day scuba diving course on the Great Barrier Reef. On the following Sunday, the 18th, I’ll be back on a plane, this time heading to Melbourne. I’ll then be making myself generally available for that week, returning to SFO on Sunday the 25th.

The good part about this plan, aside from the obvious recreational aspects, is that I should be well over the jetlag by the time I get to Melbourne, so I won’t just spent the first half of that week sleeping. 😄

I’ll provide more details as the date gets closer – I guess the exact arrival time will be needed to help co-ordinate the parade and Roulettes… 😉

This would also be the time, naturally, to get in your orders for iPods and other goodies. 🙂

I’ll try to formulate solid plans for my week in Melbourne, as I don’t want to waste any of it, so I guess I need a list of things to do.

  1. Chocolate. I’ve already postponed any further eating until my arrival in Melbourne, to make room. 😉
  2. Catch up with everyone. Duh.
  3. There is no step 23.

Yes, that’s pretty much all I can think of for the moment. I’m sure things will come to me as my memory is stirred, and I’m reminded of all the things I miss. Unfortunately I’ll be in the plane while Kate, Rob & Co. are shooting each other at Wallen, which obviously sucks, but hey, while they’re over relatively close to the airport, perhaps they can extend a lift… 😉
