Mission Improbable

Greetings, 007326517356.b. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to spy on Laura’s network usage and discover her deepest darkest secrets. You will do this because she thieved the network cable from one of the boxes you were using. Naughty naughty.

As it turns out, we have a nice selection of attempted web site visits (I’ve blocked her access entirely… well, I think I have – anyway, I can see what she’s trying to hit): (LiveJournal.com) (google.com) (MSN Messenger) (winamp.com)

And, most interestingly – although I can’t remember the IP now – Lavalife.com. Groovy. Let the fun begin…

We start by registering on Lavalife, so we can get more info about our presumed victim. My sexy online presence is now known as “lordwoot”. Excellent. 🙂

We know Laura’s birthday is the 27th of February, 1987. That makes her a Pisces. Ideally we’d search by postcode for her, but there doesn’t seem to be the capability… nonetheless, we do have some likely suspects.

Unfortunately, they’re not likely *enough* to warrant contact. Nonetheless, further investigation is warranted. Hopefully I can coerce this dodgy ass ADSL modem to mirror the traffic off Laura’s port, so I can garner some actual URLs – they should contain her login name at at least one point. The search will continue – stay tuned. 🙂
